Facing a BTN steal when we are deep this is fine to 3 bet, I can also call a 4bet profitably despite the Ace in my hand due to stack depth. Against AA** I flop very hot or cold, which is good. I also dominate many of his hands that have straight potential.

*** FLOP *** [8d Qs Jc]

We have an SPR of 7.7, I’m OOP so my steal equity is not going to be great, I can bet/fold, I can check raise or I can fire 2/3 three times, there is definitely room to play here post flop. Need to play well as it is a big pot and mistakes can be costly. We hit a BDFD + TP + 13 card wrap. We have good equity here. What equity do we have against T9**? He can float us light here, he could bluff raise us, he has a multitude of options. I think we should bet, he will raise T9** but so be it, he will call with worse, and we can barrel a couple times as well.

If we check and he bets, we have odds to call, but I would say it is safe to assume that the stacks are going in a fair bit on this flop. So possibly a check raise is effective as he may put a tonne of money in post flop then fold which is cool. We do not mind seeing him fold either. Betting or Check raising is fine.

Jubinator bets $3.15

Soflov calls $3.15

*** TURN *** [8d Qs Jc] [8s]

Not a great card, I think we will have to just check fold now, which ensures that our thoughts of check-raising was good it would see. Betting is not going to get him folding much what he floated with except air.

Jubinator bets $6

Soflov calls $6

*** RIVER *** [8d Qs Jc 8s] [5d]

*** SUMMARY ***

Total pot $21.45 | Rake $1.43

Board: [8d Qs Jc 8s 5d]

Seat 1: Jubinator (big blind) showed [Ah Qd Kd Tc] and lost with two pair, Queens and Eights

Seat 2: rascha123 folded before the Flop

Seat 3: Contentnutzer folded before the Flop

Seat 5: mrilias (small blind) folded before the Flop

Here we got in trouble on the turn, we had a slight bit of 2x pot size on turn left and we could not bet/call, we had to check and guess. Checking the flop was the better option, I need to realise that my c-bet % needs to ACTUALLY be low in PLO, just like my auto pilot one in NLHE. But choosing flops to c/f and check raise is a different kettle of fish.
